QIGONG

QiGong (or Chi Kung) means “Energy Cultivation”. This practice improves health and longevity as well as increases the sense of harmony within oneself and in the world. The principles of QiGong are simple, but it takes years of practice to truly grasp and apply them: the mind is the presence of the intention, the eyes its focus, the movement its action, and the breath its flow. QiGong is part of the family of inner martial arts, Nei Gong, that cultivate access to energies that are not ordinarily used. Exercises characteristically involve little or no movement from the muscles, but intense inner work and Qi manipulation. Ultimately the aim of QiGong is harmonious existence and action in all situations.
