ABOUT CHRISTOPHER.

WUSHU & ACROBATICS INSTRUCTOR

Training Since: summer of 2013. Wushu specifically in 2014
Current JI: 2nd
Education level: Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media

Christopher has been training under Avedis Seropian’s instructorship in Acrobatics for around 9 years and has been practicing Wushu for about 8 years. He has also been teaching Acrobatics and Wushu classes.

He participated in the Wushu World Championships in Russia – Kazan in 2017 and in the same year, he took part in an International Championship in Armenia, where he received gold and silver medals.

He has attended a local tournament in Lebanon as well, where he received a silver medal.

Christopher won the 1st prize, Lebanese Champion titles in Northern style Wushu, on June 5 2022 at the Lebanese National Wushu Championships in Anjar.

ABOUT LARA.

WUSHU & ACROBATICS INSTRUCTOR

Training Since 2011 Acrobatics/Body Potential, Wushu 2021
Education Level: Bachelor of Arts, Masters of Science

Lara has completed her 4-year undergraduate studies in Arizona. She majored in Adventure Education with a minor in Human Development.

Shortly after, she studied for her masters in Edinburgh Scotland for 15 months in outdoor education.

Lara won the 1st prize, in the Lebanese Champion titles in Northern style Wushu, on June 5 2022 at the Lebanese National Wushu Championships in Anjar.

She has been training Acrobatics with Shifu Avedis, for around 11 years and has been practicing Wushu consistently. She is currently teaching classes of acrobatics and kids’ level Wushu.

ABOUT Hagop.

WUSHU & CALISTHENICS INSTRUCTOR

Training Since: 2008
Current JI: 2nd in Wushu and 2nd Duan in Chen style TaiChi
Education level: TS degree in electronics

Hagop joined shifu Avedis Seropian’s classes in both Wushu and acrobatics (2008), and later on he added TaiChi to his studies (2013).

With Avedis’s help and training Hagop made progress and improvements and gained the insight and level needed to be become a trainer and started giving Wushu classes for kids.

After several successful local championships, Hagop has participated in open TaiChi Tournament in China (2015) and got gold and bronze medals. His next participation was in the 2nd World TaiChi Tournament in Poland (2016), and two years later in the 3rd World TaiChi tournament in Burgas, Bulgaria (2018) where he got 2 bronze medals in Chen style TaiChi.

Hagop is also a trained judge under the mentorship of Avedis, presiding over local Wushu championships events. 

 

ABOUT Vicken.

CHEN & 42 STYLE TAICHI INSTRUCTOR

Vicken Demirdjian
Training Since: 1996
Current Level: 3rd Duan in Chen Style TaiChi
Chen & 42 style TaiChi Instructor

Vicken has been practicing Traditional KungFu since 1996 & TaiChi since 1999. Vicken is proficient in Chen style TaiChi & TaiChi sword.

Vicken has numerous International Championships participation, such as European Wushu Championships – Russia 2004, World Wushu Championships – Canada 2009, 5th Wudang Taichi tournament 2011 (2 silver medals), the first World TaiChi championships – China 2014, the 2nd world TaiChi championships – Poland 2016, the 3rd World TaiChi Championships – Bulgaria 2018. Vicken has been promoted to the 3rd Duan in Taichi under the instructorship of Avedis during his visit to Henan, China in 2017.

Vicken is also a trained judge under the mentorship of Avedis, presiding over local Wushu Championships events.

ABOUT MICHEL.

TAICHI & MODERN TAICHI INSTRUCTOR

Training Since: 2003
Current Level: 2nd Duan in Chen style Taichi & Modern Taichi instructor
Education level: Architect

Michel has been practicing Wushu (Chang Quan style) & Taichi (all styles including modern competition routines) since 2003.

Michel has numerous international tournaments participation with honorable results. Some of the highlights are: one silver medal and one bronze medal in the 3rd World Taijiquan Championships, Bulgaria, 2018, one gold medal & one silver medal in the 8th Jiaozuo International Tournament, Henan/China, 2015, as well as participation in the 14th world wushu championships in Russia, 2017, and the 2nd world Taichi championships in Poland 2016.
He is also the silver medalist in the 1st Mediterranean Cup in Taichi.

Michel’s objective is to remain an exemplary practitioner inspiring the next generation of athletes to live up to the same high standards.

ABOUT JOE.

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

Training Since: 2015
Current Level: 1st JI in Wushu (Chang Quan style)
Education level: 9th grade student

Joe, though still so young, has a formidable level in wushu with high level achievements. He is the gold medalist of Chang Quan style since the year 2016 until this date, as well as a Quinda fighter and champion also since 2016.

He has already 3 international participations: 6th World Junior Wushu Championships 2016 in Burgas – Bulgaria, the 10th Asian Junior Wushu Championships 2019 in Brunei where he ranked 6th in the world, as well as achieved the Bronze Medal at the Asian Wushu Championship (Online) 2021.

Joe is proficient in acrobatics and high level wushu difficulties. He is an assistant coach for our kids’ classes.
