A wise man always walks with his head bowed; humble like the dust.” A quote by Master Po never fitted a person I’ve known more than it fitted Avedis.
Watching his unmatched humbleness, selflessness, commitment, and dedication, I am proud to have trained Tai chi under his wings.
Since the very first time, I’ve been learning from him. Inspired by the Taoist philosophy his teaching and training Taught me the quest for equilibrium, in my life.
I’ve learned about martial arts, and most importantly, I’ve learned about myself.
I appreciate his dedication to our learning and our success, knowing full well that he has a life outside of the class. I appreciate him being patient with us when we can’t get something right away; for showing us that we need to master the art of listening before we can master the art of learning, and for encouraging us to be better than we are.
