Physical therapist, a specialist in body-mind physical exercise, researcher
For the two decades, I took classes in modern wushu, Tai Chi, and Neigong and some conditioning classes with Avedis from 2002 to 2020. Thinking about those years as his apprentice fills my heart with a smile and deep gratitude.
His creativity was always manifested through new programs and approaches he produced, to build up the student personality through the movement. His classes were always a challenge, transformation, and fun.
He is a cheerful person, with a loving attitude and a strong sense of justice. His personality is a source of inspiration and a good example for the students. Our group of “Pathlessness” aimed at waking up the personal creativity through the physical practices such as modern wushu, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong. The spirit of exploration was the leading drive in our classes and seminars.
I will be forever grateful for the unforgettable moments of friendship, intensive training, and spectacular victories that we lived in class and during competitions.
Avedis found a personal approach to everyone. He passed on to his students the understanding of sensorial beauty and the meaning and complexity of the physical movement, and its symbolical sense. During the highly intense Wushu and gymnastic classes – the feeling of fullness of life and corporal happiness. The practice shaped my body and my spirit, helping me to take decisions in many important life situations.
I thank him for sharing his knowledge, skills, sense, and love for life
